It is mandatory to reference URL rewriter class on the Cloud Compliance’s driven self-service community.Including this URL rewriter class under community supports use of Vanity URLs. Vanity URLs are basically unique web address that is branded for marketing purposes.
- Navigate -> Setup -> Site -> Select Cloud Compliance’s driven self-service community. Privacy Portal Community in this case. Click on the Site Label.
- Click on the Edit button to include a URL rewriter class in this community.
- Select the PCL URL Rewriter Class (from the Cloud Compliance package) and click on the Save button.
- Referencing URL rewriter class on the Cloud Compliance’s driven self-service community is mandatory.
Note – With this URL Rewriter Class, site developers and administrators can tailor custom URLs to refer to their pages instead of utilizing Salesforce. com-generated URLs by using programmatic mapping.
